JOHN GEORGE - Longtime resident of Roseville, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the age of 76. John was born and raised in the New York City Area to Joseph and Inez George. After high school, John joined the Marine Corps and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in 1956. John met the love of his life, Marianne Bridget McGowan and they wed in 1958. As a career law enforcement officer, John worked for the White Plains, NY, Police Department, the Roseville Police Department and the California Highway Patrol. After retirement, John was the co-founder of BJ Graphics, creating courtroom exhibits and providing expert courtroom testimony during many high -profile cases. John is survived by his wife Marianne, sons John and Dan, daughters Susan and Jennifer, their spouses, grandchildren Spencer, Braden, Amanda, Julie, Bailey, Reece and brother Robert George of Indianapolis, IN. A viewing and Rosary will be held on Wed, March 7 from 4-6 PM, at the Cochrane Chapel of the Roses at 103 Lincoln Street in Roseville. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 8 at 11:00 AM, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Roseville. Immediately following a gravesite ceremony, the George Family wishes to invite all friends and family to John and Marianne's home to Celebrate the Life of John George.
