JOHNSON, Kathleen Mary
76, of Citrus Heights CA, passed away, January 18, 2013. Kim, as she liked to be called, was born in Bath (Somerset), England, Dec. 7, 1936, to the late Eli and Maude Hibbard. Kim graduated from high school in 1953, and moved to London. While in London she met J.Q. Johnson, an American airman stationed in Deham Studios Air Base, England. They were married in December, 1961, and moved to the United States in 1962. Kim was avid reader, and enjoyed historical novels, and a good mystery. She also loved to travel. Her travels included a trip back to her homeland, England and recently spent the summer in Maui. Kim was a loving and caring Wife, Mother and Grandmother, with a wonderful sense of humor. She greeted life each day with a smile, and will remain the cornerstone in her family's lives forever. Kim is survived by her husband, J.Q. Johnson, three children: Jonathan Johnson (Dyanna); Anthony Johnson (Melody) and Amanda McNulty (Robert). Kim is also survived by 2 brothers: Tony Hibbard of Somerset, England; Malcolm Hibbard of Whales, and 4 grandchildren: Bryce, Ryan, Emily & Gavin. There will be a private memorial at The Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, in Dixon CA.
