Rogelia Lilia Molina a longtime former Sacramento resident, 73, beloved mother and Latino activist, passed on October 3, 2013 in Tacoma, Washington. She was instrumental in voter rights for Spanish-speaking voters, especially the Southwest Voter Registration, and the Mexican-American Legal Defense Fund. She worked as a legislative aide for the California State legislature and was delegate for the Democratic party Platform Committee. She enjoyed quilting, astrology, and painting. She is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Houseman and Tanya Houseman, and son, Andres Houseman, and two brothers, Andres Molina and James Molina; and many loving nieces and nephews. A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
