HARWELL, Lonnie Lee
Born on September 6, 1940 to Roy and Myrtle Harwell in Tulare, CA.
Lonnie died, at age 72, on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in Sacramento. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his friend, companion, wife of 35 years, Penni Alexander-Harwell. Lonnie is also survived by his children, Laura Burke and her husband Tom, Alexander 'Alex' Harwell, Yuri Huff, Lonnie Harwell and his wife Jasmin. He was blessed with 9 grandchildren: Devon, Jarod, Jessica, Kassidy, Liam, Mariah, Quinlan, Ryan and Sarah; and 3 great- grandchildren, Ellie, Madeline, and Mike. Lonnie is also survived by his sister, Arlene Baez, and many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Cal Poly, he spent the majority of his career in sales. Lonnie's passion was as a poet. He spent many loving hours writing music with his son, Lonnie.
A private celebration will be held at a later date.
'So let it be written. So let it be done.' He'll remain in our hearts as we carry on...
