Born March 10, 1928 in Proctor, Minnesota, passed away June 16, 2013 in Sacramento, CA. Marlyn is survived by his wife Goldie, sons Gary Black, Owen Black, granddaughter April Black, and sister Lois Carlson. He belonged to Golden Acorns RV Club, DAV Chapter 6, and was a member of the Salvation Army Church. Marlyn worked for Russ Monroe Mortuary Services for 20 years and with John Morris for 15 years. Friends are invited to attend visitation Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with the Service beginning at 2:00 PM at the GEORGE L. KLUMPP CHAPEL OF FLOWERS, Riverside Boulevard and 2nd Avenue. Interment will be at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery Wednesday, June 26, 2013.
