Nanci Seiden was born on September 17, 1953 as an identical triplet in Sacramento, California. She lived and grew up in Rio Vista and Mountain View. For 16 years until one year ago, she lived in Stafford, Virginia. While in Virginia, Nanci was a volunteer for the county at the information desk at the administration building and was the treasurer of the auxiliary at the hospital. She was also involved with getting businesses up to date on the laws concerning Americans with Disabilities Act and those with "service animals." She passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 17, 2013 in Vacaville after a difficult year-long battle with metastatic melanoma. Nanci received wonderful care from Emeritus Senior Assisted Living in Vacaville during the past year. Nanci was preceded in death by her father, Ira "Skip" Seiden and mother, Dorothea Seiden. She is survived by her two identical sisters, Robin Ferrari of San Jose and Virginia Veal of Lakehead, and by her brothers, Steve of North Carolina, Bill of Vacaville and Craig of Los Altos. Her family and friends who knew her will sorely miss her. A memorial service will be held at Community Presbyterian Church at 425 Hemlock St., Vacaville, CA 95688 on June 7, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Those who wish to honor Nanci may make donations in her name to the Community Presbyterian Church memorial fund.
