CAIETTI, JR., Peter
Peter Caietti Jr. was born in Sacramento CA on January 8, 1929 where he lived until he passed away, at home, on June 3, 2013, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease. He graduated from Sacramento High School and enlisted in the Navy to serve 4 years during the Korean War. He returned to take over his father's diesel truck repair business, which he ran successfully in West Sacramento for 40 years. Pete was a long time member of Valley Hi Country Club and an avid golfer. When he wasn't on the golf course he could be found mowing his lawn, washing his car or puttering in his garage. The family expresses their sincere appreciation for the wonderful care he received from his dedicated caregivers Terry and Ben in the last years of his life. He is survived by his loving wife Jeanette, his three children, Lorelei Cvitanov (Andy), Peter Caietti III (Laurie) and Jill Parker (Stephen), seven grandchildren, Andrew Cvitanov (Robin), Kevin Cvitanov, Bryan Cvitanov, Erika and Kristi Caietti, Megan and Kayla Parker, and 2 great grandsons, Lucas Gall and Andrew Jacob Cvitanov. He was preceded in death by his brother Bill and is survived by his brothers Clyde and Bob and his sister Jeanie (Buck) Buchanan. The rosary will be held at George L. Klumpp Chapel of Flowers, 2691 Riverside Boulevard, Sacramento, CA at 7 pm on June 10, 2013. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Anthony Church, 660 Florin Road at 10 am Tuesday, June 11, 2013. Private interment.
