Romualdo Barraza 'Ray', 71, passed away Saturday March 15, 2014 at his home in Sacramento, California. Romualdo was born on February 07, 1943 in Durango, Mexico to Dalfina Falcon and Joaquin Barraza. He is survived by his loving wife, Margarita Barraza; daughters, Beatriz, Maribel, and Christina; his son Adrian; his step children, Eduardo and Mariaelena, his 3.5 grandchildren (one on the way) and 3 step grandchildren.
He will be lovingly remembered by his family for his larger than life personality, pleasantly boisterous demeanor, his ability to engage any stranger in a conversation, and his overwhelming love for life and family. He retired from the Sacramento Police Department in 2009 after 20 years of service as a civilian employee, after which he spent much of his time watching the Dodgers, 49ers, and old westerns.
Private services will be held.
We miss you dearly dad and I would do anything to hear you cheering at one of my old football games one last time.
