FRITTS, Stephen Richard
Steve passed away on December 22, 2012, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was only 54 years of age. Steve was born on October 13, 1958, in Sacramento to Anne and Lester Fritts.

Preceded in death by his father, Steve is survived by his mother, Anne, brothers, Ralph (Kathy), Dan (Julie), Jim, and sister, Carol. Steve also leaves behind his beloved Jan Martin and her sister, Joan Travis, both of whom faithfully took care of him during his last months.

A graduate of C.K. McClatchy High School, Steve had a happy, active life making many life long friends along the way. He worked for the City of Sacramento and was a proud member of the Yolo County Sheriffs Aero Squadron. He was also a member of the Eagles Lodge #9. Steve enjoyed working at the Chico raceway and was able to do so the last year of his life thanks to Mike Lockwood. He also enjoyed working at concerts for Husky Productions. With all these activities, he was always there for family and friends when called upon day or night. Our family wishes to express our gratitude to dear friends, Brian Taylor, Tim and Nancy Wolhart, and Vern Henry for their devotion to Steve and care at this difficult time.

Steve will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. With respect to Steve's wishes there will be a family service at St Mary's Cemetery.
