Steven Reese Obituary
In loving memory of Steven K. Reese of Rocklin, CA who passed away after a lengthy illness on December 28, 2014 at the age of 57.
Steven was born Oct 16, 1957 in Sacramento. He married his high school sweetheart, Lynda Froggatt on Feb 6, 1977 and had two sons, Christopher and Matthew.
Steven retired from the Sacramento Police force in 1995 and was the founder of SKR Investigations.
Steven's passions were building models, including RC Warships, writing novels, and he enjoyed traveling and exploring the world. His latest passion was learning to play the Ukulele so that he would be able to play Christmas Carols for his grandson Vincent. His favorite song was Pompeii by Bastille that he played for his family.
No matter what life put in front of Steve, he always had a positive outlook on life, and wanted to share it with those he loved the most.
Steven was a hopeless romantic, that kept those who he loved and lost close to his heart with pictures and simple items like an old blanket, or a piece of paper with a note written by his loved one.
Steven is survived by his beloved partner of 9 years, Ami Charbonneau, his sons Matthew and Christopher, daughter-in-law, Leah and grandson, Vincent. His is also survived by his mother, JoAnn and his sisters, Stacci Reese and Sherri Holmes.
Steven is preceded in death by his wives, Lynda R. (Froggatt) Reese and Susan D. (Agee) Reese and his father, Robert Reese.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Love, soul mate, and the painful void that is left in your heart. God will gather (and account for) your every tear. You deeply enriched each others lives
here on earth doing such fun things "together". You experienced his boat models and battles (even took some shrapnel...OK BB's), You have a lot of great memories together with so many pictures of you both smiling on your romantic vacations (so happy). You are blessed to have these great memories although times are difficult now. Steve was also blessed with all of the Loving care you have provided him in regards to his health and your generous and lengthy care, out of love, loyalty and devotion. I know you are use to having Matt as a part of your life as well. May God guide this bond. May God keep Matt strong. Steve as a police officer served our community, as I Thank and am grateful for his service. I am so fortunate to have met Steve and Matt. My time and heart and ear is always open to you can always find comfort in knowing you held his hand to the very end.

My path crossed with Steve while I was in high school many years ago. He took me on my first ride along many years ago and I still tell stories of that night. He was a funny, kind and compassionate man, who took interest in a kid that was struggling for direction and he help guide me in another direction. I am sorry for the loss to his entire family.
