CISCOE, Tamara Marcille (Cossey)
The family of Tammi is saddened to announce her unexpected passing on April 8, 2013. Born in Sacramento on May 15, 1960, Tammi is survived by loving mother, Margaret Cossey; adoring daughter, Chelsea; devoted son, Dustin; daughter-in-law, Tiffanie; sister-in-law, Jeanette Cossey and many family members and friends. Tammi was preceded in death by father, Albert Cossey and brother, Blake Cossey. She was employed at SMUD since 1985, currently as supervisor of Image Production and Postal Services. Our Tammi was not only beautiful on the outside, but beautiful inside. She was blessed with a kind, generous, and compassionate heart. She spent countless hours giving back to the community, volunteering to care for people with special needs, donating time and money to charities, and opening her home to all who wanted or needed to come. She especially loved her dogs and cats (her girls), flowers, veggies from her Mom's and Dad's garden, candles, going to the theater, traveling, Native American arts and crafts, cooking from her extensive recipe collection, preparing special doggie dinners, and making up crazy words that we would laugh about for hours. She was our party girl, always ready for good times with her family and friends. We will truly miss our selfless, loving, free-spirited Tammi. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd., Sacramento. Because purple was Tammi's favorite color, she would think it would be fun to wear purple on her special day. We know that Tammi would like any remembrances in her name be sent to the SPCA, 6209 Florin-Perkins Road, Sacramento. CA 95828 or to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817.
