Robert entered into rest on April 27, 2009, at the age of 32. He was born November 2, 1976, in Sacramento, Calif., to Robert and Janeice Pierce Jr. Robert attended Arcade Baptist Church during his youth and most recently Bayside of South Sacramento ''BOSS''. Robert attended Highlands High and San Juan High Schools and played little league baseball in the San Juan District and Pop Warner football for the North Highlands Chargers and the Highlands Jr. Scots. Robert was an avid Oakland Raiders fan. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his loving and devoted parents Robert and Janeice Pierce Jr., fiancee LaToya Starks, sons Robert IV and Glenn Pierce, daughters Audrina and Devyn Pierce, sisters LiMetrias Daniels, LaBrett (Eli) Cuevas Sr., brother Jibri Pierce, a host of, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. The family invite relatives and friends to the viewing on Friday, May 8, 2009, from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA 95841, (916) 732-2035. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at 12:00 Noon (11:00 public viewing) at Arcade Church, 3927 Marconi Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95821. Interment will follow at East Lawn Mortuary In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bank of America in the name of Robert L. Pierce Jr. for the Pierce Children's Fund #06959-76524.

Well my son it´s been 15 long years since GOD called you home when you left know that a lot of hearts were broken. Your 4 beautiful kids are almost adults now and doing well. They really miss you and wish that they could talk and be with you. Some day we all will be together again but, until then we got to keep grinding. Not sure what to say but words can't express how much I miss my friend then and today... I know your a proud father looking down on them. Your kids look just like you. I knew what I wanted to say in my head much harder to type out but I feel you know already. Funny when i need a scolding I can still hear you giving me a sweet lecture and a knuckle head to follow right after and all I can do is laugh. I will say God knew what an amazing special soul that he needed in heaven because he took one of the best back home... Until we see each other again...

Well little brother, it's been over a year now and it seems like we just lost ya. Your little ones are growing fast and I'm gonna make sure that their always close to my fam.. Little Rob and little Anthony always want to be with each other.. Little you and little me. WOW!!! Remember when I told you about my vision of us preaching together? Well, maybe it was them.. I still pick up the phone to call you ALL the time...It's hard for me to believe that you are gone.. It's hard for me to listen to your music without choking up, but at least I can still hear your voice. I can't even finish writing this without crying.. I MISS YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH...I lost a big chunck of my heart when you went to the LORD, but I guess he needed you more than us. None of us can ever understand what GOD'S plan is, so I'm not gonna try, but I do know that you are in heaven now, feasting with the LORD and all of our lost loved ones. Renardo was at your services and a few months later he joined you at the table. You guys are probably laughing at my crying butt right now!! LOL I put our new family photo up, because you never had a chance to see my newest little one. I'm coaching Rob, Glen, Ant and Bella's T-Ball team,the games are hilarious. I'm gonna do as much as I can to make sure them children of yours are taken care of and you know one thing that wont be lacking, and that's LOVE!! Today marks a year that we lost a nephew that is very special to us, we will miss the things that you always do and say what’s up auntie or what’s up unc there are many thing that I could say but one thing I’m gonna say is that when God took you he took a good loving person that we are going to miss very much. My condolences to the Pierce family. I still can't believe Rob is gone. I still remember Rob and I always getting into trouble in Mrs. Fowlers class...man those were the days.
I ran into Rob about a month ago and we chatted awhile about our kids and life. He shot me his number so we could catch up some more and I never got around to calling him back. Rob you will be tremendously missed. You were a genuine person and I will keep you and your family always in my prayers.

Rob was good people who always showed love to those he loved. From when he was young playing on my youth football team to being a grown man, he always had that same smile and a way of making me smile back and enjoy the moment regardless of what type of day I had. The last time I saw Robert was about three years ago and we were very good friends in elementary school. We saw each other at the store and he was looking at me the same way I was looking at him....he said I know I know you man....and I said....yeah I know you....he said who am I....I said your Robert Pierce from Hillsdale and we used to get in so much stuff together....and he said what's up Derek. We talked for about twenty-thirty minutes and we knew we both were in Highlands, so we just said "I'll see you around man".... I wish I could have that moment back now. Robert was the funniest guy I've ever been around and even though I didn't get to spend but 3-6 grades with him, I will and have always truely been lucky to have had the time we had together.

Rob... man it seems like yesterday when I bought you and Polo Amtrak tickets and brought you to Merced in 1998!!!
