Marge was a dear friend to me. She understood the problems I went through my life. I was assigned to 1155th TOS at McClellan in 1972 and we got along right from the start. She would do anything that somebody needed. I retired in 1979 and kept in touch through out the years by phone and mail.

I could not understand why I did not get a Christmas Card this year.

I know that everyone who knew her was touched by her and her generosity.

I know that she is with God now, but she probably take over his job.

God bless her and her family.

Came to OPS when Marge was Col Esping's secretary. We soon became friends, despite some "salty" nicknames she gave me. We lived near each other and occasionally shared some wine at the pool, or once, we took her Chevy convert to Tahoe to ski. After learning how little I knew, she said, "I can get you up the hill, but I don't know how you'll get down." We cancelled. She introduced me to a travel club she belonged to and I am forever grateful to Marge because I met my wonderful Mary on one of those trips. Thanks, Marge and I hope that happy soul of yours is still flying off to new adventures.

We have lost a bright light in this world. Marge was my inspiration for how to live a spirited and graceful life. I will miss exchanging our "travel brag notes" each Christmas.

I just heard about Margaret's passing. I volunteered with Margaret at the Jazz Jubilee for the last 16 years. I loved her sense of humor, her stories about her travels and work experiences, and her love of music. She will definitely be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Just learned of Marge's passing. I worked with Marge worked in LGE from 1980 to 1985 and from 1970 to 1975 at 1155th TOS. She was exceptional in her work and as a person, extremely well liked. She did much to keep the AFTAC stands high. Chris Trytten (Lt Col Ret)

I became acquainted with Marge while working on Yokota Air Force Base in Japan. After being selected as the TOD Deputy Laboratory Director, she was helpful in answering my many questions and making the arrangements for my transfer.

We worked together in the same office for eight years and I became to appreciate her administrative acumen, commitment to professional standards, and quick earthy wit. She was an intrepid World traveler, whose adventures included breaking her hip while on a ski trip to the Andes; during the last few years she limited her travel to the States.

When prompted, Marge would carry on a knowledgeable discussion on an astounding variety of topics. She also seemed to know everyone in AFTAC, who had been in the organization for awhile, and could usually come up with a spirited anecdote about each. She was indeed a great resource in putting together a TOD history publication.

Occasionally, we would make a lunch date to catch up on things or see each other at a TOD Alumni function. I considered her a good friend, yet even after we had both retired, I couldn't break Miss Iske's habit of calling me Mr. Baker. I will miss her strength, wise counsel and good humor. Marge was a fun character to be around!

I knew Marge pretty much my whole 20 years at McClellan. I enjoyed all the chats we had. I completely envied all the trips she talked about. She always had something funny to say. I'll miss her.

Marge was a true joy to work with at McClellan AFB in the Technical Operations Division and everyone loved her. She was a professional and a task master and she made a difference in the patriotic work of the organization. I am sad to hear of her passing and my sympathies go out to her family. - Art Friess

What a fine person. I never recall Marge when she wasn't outgoing and up-beat. A real pleasure to be in her presence. My condolences to her family, who I hope have as many fond memories of her as did her colleagues.

Marge was a wonderful person, and will be missed at the AFTAC alumni functions. I met Marge while assigned as First Sergeant of the 1155th/TOD. Always a smile on her face, a special person. Rest in peace Marge.

Marge was a great secretary and wonderful mentor to generations of Officers, NCOs, Airmen and Civilians who were lucky enough to be assigned to TOD. She "trained" many TOD Commanders and MCL Directors and contributed far more to the organization than her secretarial duties. She even made sure I knew how to get to the Russell Building from the Winters Street Gate -- a daunting prospect for a new arrival. Well done Marge; we all salute you as we offer our sincere condolences to your family.

Marge was a great secretary who served as a wonderful mentor to so many Officers, NCOs, Airmen and Civilians at TOD. She had a wonderful work ethic and was instrumental in my "training" as MCL Director. She even made sure I knew how to get to the Russell Building from the Winters Street Gate, upon my first arrival at TOD. Her contributions to TOD went far beyond her secretarial duties. Well done, good and faithful servant!

Marge was so wonderful to me when I was a brand new Airman in the lab. I loved her sense of humor and straight forward manner. She is a TOD legacy and we will miss her.

I was sorry to hear of Marge's passing. She was a wonderful woman and a good friend to all the officers and enlisted men she knew and worked with. I worked and partied with her when she was a member of the Ground and Airborne engineering group. Tom Ramrath

Marge was secretary to Al Pavik when I was at McClellan. The word of her passing was quite a surprise. She was a wonderful person and will be missed. Rest peacefully Marge.

To Marge's family - I first met Marge when she volunteered with the Jazz Society in the late '80s; we worked youth bands together. Then I moved on to the Art Dept. and she stayed with the Youth groups, but we still saw each other at the festival. We also got together periodically for lunch/dinner and/or jazz. I was devastated to see her obit. I'd been meaning to call her. I really enjoyed being with her. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, but I know she lived a VERY FULL life, having traveled so extensively as she did. I will really miss her.
