SCHEER, Gilbert Lawrence
Born on January 16, 1928 in Steamboat Springs, CO and passed away on May 16, 2012 in Sacramento, CA.
Gil graduated from Sacramento High School. Following high school Gil joined the US Army and served in WWII. Gil retired from Pacific Telephone after 36 years of service.
He is survived by JoAnn, his loving wife of 53 years; his sons, John, Bill & Tom (Ann); and granddaughters, Kendra & Hailey. Also survived by his sister, Lilian Jelinek.
Easy going Gil passed away peacefully and will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. At Gil's request, no formal services will be held.
