GOFF, Alice Beatrice
Alice Beatrice Goff was born on March 21, 1936 to the union of Clyde and Nettie Reid (both deceased) in Sacramento, California. She departed this life May 24, 2012. She married James Lee in the mid 1950's. To this union two children were born Robert Lee and Cynthia Diane (deceased) Vereen (Howard). She later married J.W. Goff in the early 1960's. To this union one child was born Prennie J. Ento (Kelvin) all of Sacramento, California.
Alice was employed at McClellan AFB, Campbell Soup, Aerojet General, and Accent Care. Alice was devoted to her job working at Accent Care as a Caregiver for more than twenty years. She was awarded many accolades and monetary gifts as the company's top caregiver.
She was a member of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church, and on February 10, 2002 she became a member of Paradise Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member of the Deaconess board, and worked diligently with the children's church ministries, and on the food committee.
In addition to her loving children she leaves to mourn her six grandchildren Monique, Michaela, Marquita, Victoria, Jacob, and Phillip, all of Sacramento Ca and one great-grandson Ethan of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Three sisters, Gwendolyn, Eleanor, Alpha (deceased), two brothers William (deceased) and Wesley of Oakland, Ca. one aunt, Ola Mae. She leaves a host of nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
A home-going celebration will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Paradise Missionary Baptist Church located at 3651 27th Avenue, in Sacramento, Ca.
