GONZALES, Joe
It is with great sadness we write that our loving brother passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 7, 2012. He was 70 years of age. Born in Farmington, New Mexico in 1942 and resided in Sacramento for the last 42 years. Preceded him in death were his loving mother Della Gonzales, his father Emiliano Gonzales; brothers, Eddie Ortega, Robert, Johnny and Frankie Gonzales; niece Tina; and great-nephew Noah. Joe leaves behind sisters, Gloria Gonzales, Christina (Jose) Romo, Bertha (Pat) McCullagh, Susie (Jesus) Fierro; brothers Bennie, David, Alex (Susie) and Ricky (Rose) Gonzales; and host of nephew and nieces.

Joe was a big sports fan always rooting for the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. One of his happiest days was when the Giants won the World Series in 2010. He had a special passion for the Giants all the way back to the Willie Mays era. Joe loved playing bingo with family and making trips to the casinos were he seldom lost and rolled out of there with, Dinero. Joe attended Health for All school for the handicap for twenty years receiving physical therapy, playing games and going on trips. Joe was loved by all who he came in contact with talking sports and all that happens in life. He will be missed by all.

A special thanks to Christina (sister) and Sutter Hospice for their love, care and support In Joe's most difficult times. We are all grateful Christina that you were able to spend time and attend to Joe's needs the last months of his life. You are truly blessed for all your love and support you showed him.

UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN BROTHER, LOVING YOU ALWAYS.
