Entered into eternal rest on June 13, 2012 in her West Sacramento home at the age of 99 years with her loving caregiver Sulu by her side. Beloved wife of the late Mariano Rivera. Dear mother of Barbara (Valine) Grady 'Bud' and Kenneth Lawrence Valine 'Marvean.' Devoted grandmother of Kenneth E. Valine 'Brandie' and Kerry Valine; great-grandmother of Brandon 'Kelly,' Casey 'Amanda,' Holly 'Steve,' Corey and Chelsie; great-great-grandmother of Jamisen, Madelynn, and Owen. Also survived by her step sister, Lucy Beck, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation hours will be Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with Vigil services at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, all at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule St., West Sacramento. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 911 Park Blvd., West Sacramento. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Sutter Hospital VNA & Hospice, Our Lady of Grace School Sports Fund, or Christian Bros. Joseph and Lorraine Valine Scholarship Fund.
