GWERDER, Ida M.
Born on February 8, 1915, in Ferdale, California, died peacefully in her home on June 15, 2012. She was 97 years of age and was predeceased by her husband Frank. Beloved mother of Pearl Sieler (George) and Frank Gwerder (Pat), all of Elk Grove. Devoted grandmother of Ed Inderbitzin, Rita Chamberlain, Michael Inderbitzin, Frank Gwerder Jr. and Mark Gwerder; stepgrandchildren Larry Sieler, Cheryl Fechner and Gary Sieler. Also survived by nine great-grandchildren, four step great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, San Joaquin Valley Swiss Club, retired from Brueners, a 70 year resident of Elk Grove. Friends are welcome for a visitation on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 5-8 pm and a vigil at 7 pm at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd., Elk Grove. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Wednesday, June 20 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 9961 Elk Grove Florin Rd., Elk Grove. Interment will follow at East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park.
