Born January 25, 1923 in Cerro Gordo, IL died June 5, 2012. Fred grew up on the family farm surrounded by a loving family and many friends and cousins. A graduate of the University of Illinois, he was a fighter bomber pilot in WW II and enjoyed a thirty year career in the US Air Force before moving to Sacramento in 1969. In Sacramento he pursued a second career in real estate and earned his MBA Degree. Fred was a devoted and loving husband to his late wife Dorothy. He is survived by his son David, sister Marian, son-in-law Ron, and an extended group of friends and family. The family extends its thanks to Rosita Smith, Myra Rao, and Home Instead. Services will be held at the Chapel at East Lawn, 43rd and Folsom, Monday, July 2 at 10 am. Contributions to the
