
CEKLOVSKY, Michael John
Born in Rome, New York on September 27, 1946, passed away suddenly in Roseville, CA on June 19, 2012 at the age of 65 years. He accomplished a great many things in his short time on earth. He served honorably in the U.S. Army during the 1960's, became an aircraft pilot, established a 40-year career as a registered pharmacist, was an avid student of World War II and aviation history and a passionate motorcycle enthusiast. He was a patriot, a loyal friend to many with a renowned outgoing personality & a dedicated supporter of St Jude's Children Hospital. But first & foremost, he was a son, brother, uncle, father & grandfather, who loved his family above all else.
Michael is survived by his son Michael John Ceklovsky II (Kathlene); brothers, Joseph P. Ceklovsky (Dianne) and Dennis F. Ceklovsky; grandson, Aidan Michael Ceklovsky; nieces and nephews, Cathi Plumley (John), Joseph (Natalie), Marc and Dennis Ceklovsky II (Claire) and Christine Longero (John). He was pre-deceased by his parents, Michael and Frances Ceklovsky. He was also pre-deceased by his much beloved Giant Schnauzer, 'Vito', who was his constant companion. Friends are invited to attend a Vigil Service Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd., 451-7284 and are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1333 58th St. Entombment, St. Mary's Cemetery,
