GORTON, Donald W.
Passed away peacfully on June 19, 2012 at the age of 93. He was born on May 15, 1919 in Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was one of the youngest service-members to achieve the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He is survived by daughter Pamela Randone; sons, Randy Gorton and David Gorton; and stepson Mike Gorton; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, July 1, 2012, from noon to 4:00 pm, at the Lionsgate Hotel, 3410 Westover Street, North Highlands, CA 95652.
