Carol Ann Russell-Thompson Passed away peacefully on June 23, 2012 at her home in Roseville, CA at the age of 71. Born in Ticonderoga, New York on November 25, 1940 to Floyd and Madeline Russell. Carol grew up in Ticonderoga, New York and later settled in Sacramento, California, where she raised her three children. Carol found her passion and purpose through her career and professional life. She entered into the medical industry in 1979 and remained in the industry until her passing. She was a devoted employee of 23 years at Mercy Medical Clinic/Dignity Health where she became the Scheduling Coordinator. It was in this position where her strength for detail and organization helped the many doctors she supported succeed. Her interests included, camping, gardening, reading, watching movies and she shared a great love of animals. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members. Carol is survived by her three children; Daughter, Lisa and her husband Ed, Daughter, Holly and her Son, Marc. Grandchildren; Ryan, Taylor and Kendyl, children of Lisa and Ed, Madeline, daughter of Holly, her Brother; Sonny Russell and his wife Beth. Services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA with a private reception immediately following.
