BUTLER, Sue Willie
On July 1, 2012 Sue Willie Butler went home peacefully to be with the Lord at her Sacramento home of 45 years. Born in Martinsville, VA, on April 3, 1926, Sue lived a full life which included being a member of the 1st wave of women to join the Air Force in 1949, 30 years of marriage to the love of her life, Benjamin Butler, being a devoted member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, and working at American Legion H.S's Infant Toddler Program where she retired in 1996 after 28 years of service. She is survived by her children, Arthur Butler, David Butler, Jerome Butler, Alexandra Butler, Pamella Johnson, Mechelle Jungsten and Cynthia Butler in addition to 14 grandchildren. A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sat., July 7, 11:30 am, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Sacramento.
