August 20, 1928-July 6, 2012. Richard Adolf Eisele passed away peacefully early Friday morning at the age of 83, after a beautiful day of wine tasting with those closest to him. Richard was born August 20, 1928 to Frieda and Hermann in Karlsruhe, Germany. Richard loved music from an early age, learning to play the accordion and the piano. While his heart never left his home country, Richard moved to Winnipeg, Canada where he met and married Doris. The newlyweds moved to Yellowknife, Canada where he worked as a mine electrician to support his growing family. Richard eventually continued his trade at Keyes Fiber after moving his family to Sacramento, CA where he resided for the last 50 years. Richard lived a remarkable life, and took great solace in the company of his friends and family. There is nothing he loved more than recounting his life experiences over a good glass of wine, a fine cigar, and wonderful company. Richard will be forever remembered by those lucky enough to come to know him. He was a true father, brother, husband, Opa, and hero. Richard is survived by his wife Doris; brother Erich; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Mike Morrow; and two grandsons Teddy and Tanner. He was preceded in death by his son Gordon. There will be a celebration of Richard's life on Friday July 13th at 6:00p. For more information email inmemoryofrichardeisele@yahoo.com.
