BROWN, Frances Harriet
A WOMAN OF VALOR
Born Frances Harriet Blackman on July 25, 1924 in Philadelphia, PA. Died in Sacramento on July 22, 2012. Raised in Newark, NJ with five wonderful siblings. Married Malcolm Leslie Brown in 1946 and moved to Los Angeles in 1957 with their 3 young children. Fran and Mal were happily married for 61 years until his death in 2007. Fran was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and wife and enjoyed many community activities. She enjoyed her work in the entertainment industry promoting tours of the star's homes in Hollywood. Survived by her children Ellen Edelstein (Mark) of Rocklin, Gary (Midge) of Roseville, Douglas of Dublin, five grandchildren, Dena, Jolie, Dustin, Jacob and Lucas, one great-grandchild, Evan , and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Fran was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by those who enjoyed the many 'gifts' she provided during her long life. Contributions in lieu of flowers to the
