William Macken of Folsom & long time resident of No. Highlands was born in Rochester, MN to Cyril & Loretta Macken.
He graduated from Lourdes H.S. in Rochester & attended St. Thomas College in St. Paul. He proudy served as a U.S. Air Force Medic in Korea. He owned several businesses, a liquor store, real estate office & then retired from the CA State Lottery.
He is survived by children, Marilynn, Susan, Teresa, Michael; brothers, Jerry, Gordy; sisters, Joanne, Maggie & 4 grandchildren, Heather, Kaitlyn, Steven & Ryan.
William loved fishing, SF Giants, 49'ers & the Sacramento Kings. He volunteered 20+ years for the Sacramento Jazz Festival. He was an active & charter member of VFW Post 4657.
