RUMAN, Charles 'Ed'
Died on July 28, 2012 at the age of 92. Ed was a third-generation Californian, and life-long resident of Michigan Bar. During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific. He loved working outdoors. Until two days before his death, he continued to do chores on the family cattle ranch founded by his grandfather, Charles Augustus Ruman, in 1877. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dixie; his sons Rick and Dan; his daughter-in-law Emily; and his granddaughter, Claire. At his request, no services will be held.
