ALVES, Joe
Born April 11, 1931, passed away peacefully, August 2, 2012. Preceded in death by parents Joe and Mariana Silva Alves. Survived by sisters Florence De Bernardi and Marie Keene (Dave), stepchildren Gary Richeal (Pam), and Sissy Richeal (Lauri), nephews Weegee De Bernardi (Rose Ann), Joe De Bernardi (Wendy), David Keene Jr. (Hortencia), Michael J. Keene (Lauren), several cousins, especially 'Cos' and best friend Gary Silva Sr. (Tildean). Joe was a graduate of C.K. McClatchy High School class of 1949. He was employed by the City of Sacramento 20 + years. He worked for Parks and Recreation. Joe was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a daily member of the coffee group at the Pocket Club on Freeport Boulevard. Friends are welcome to attend the Memorial Service Monday, August 6, 2012 at 11:00AM at St. Elizabeth's Church, 12th and S Street.
