THOMAS, Michael Ryan
On August 15, 1987, a 10 lb. baby boy named Michael Ryan Thomas entered the world. His family was pleased to know he was the largest baby in the nursery. As a young toddler, his first word was 'outside." No one loved to be at the park more than him. Hours were spent swinging and playing "lava monster."
He grew up in Rocklin CA where he attended pre-school through college. He was a loyal friend who maintained the same group of buddies from boyhood to manhood. He was charismatic, funny and loved to make people laugh. He was loving and tender and no one could give a better hug than Michael. He was passionate about life and inquisitive. He loved the S.F. Giants, music, sports, politics and TV shows like "Seinfeld" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm." He enjoyed cycling down the American River trail with his mom, river rafting with his step dad, playing ball with his dad and working out with his sister.
He was a humble guy who enjoyed the simple things in life: a good meal, diving off the rocks at Lake Tahoe, a hike through the mountains and skipping rocks off the river shore.
Michael was a beautiful person who loved everyone, particularly his friends and family. He was tender and kind. He was someone you could count on when you needed help.
On July 28th 2012, the world lost this magnificent soul who will never be forgotten, and who will be loved forever by those who knew him. In celebration of Michael's life, please join us on Sat., August 11th from 1-4PM at his parents' home. For details please call 916-759-6460 or email mike-mary@wavecable.com.
In lieu of donations or flowers please take a person you love and give them a "Michael Hug."
