I am sorry to read about Jack's passing and offer my prayers and condolences to his wonderful family he talked highly about. Jack worked for me at the Board of Equalization and we had several mutual friends throughout the state.

Dear Ruth, Molly, David and Tom, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family. I worked with Jack in the 70's at CDF. We had so many good times. I will miss our annual visits to get caught up on our families. JoAnn & Lloyd

Was really sorry this morning to read of the passing of Jack. Hopefully your family is coping as best you can. Its been 50 years, but still remember being down at McKinley Park as a kid watching Jack play tennis in the Labor Day and July 4th tournaments--and how hard he served. So impressive. Only remember playing him once; but over the years, would regularily run into him around East Sacramento. Those visits were always great. He was so open and friendly. I have nothing but positive rememberaces of Jack and know a lot of people will miss him.

To Jack's family: It is with much sadness I read of his passing. We worked together at STRS. Jack was one of the good ones; one of the BEST! I liked him SO much. We chatted many times about his family and I know how devoted he was to all of you. Long after I left STRS, but was still working downtown, I would see him "on the street" during lunch hour, etc---we'd stop and catch up---I thoroughly enjoyed those visits. I heard about each child, David, Molly and Thomas and all that was brewing in the Adolphson household. Over the years he's often come to mind and I've wondered how he was doing, if the house was ever "finished!" My heart goes out to all of you. Peace in your heart, joy in the memories. Pam Peacock
