GOMES, John
John was born on January 16, 1929 in Turlock, CA and passed September 7, 2012 in Sacramento, CA. John served in the Army and worked for Southern Pacific Railroad. He loved his cabin home on Donner Lake where he spent a lot of time with his wife Margaret. He also loved to fish and hunt in the Donner Lake Truckee area.
John was preceded in death by his parents Augustino and Maria; brothers-in-law Augie and Frank; and grandson Branden. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Margaret; son Johnny (Kathy); grandson Aaron (Shena); and sisters Rose and Mary.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 17th from 4:00-7:00 pm with a Rosary following at 7:00 pm at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd. Funeral services will be private.
