Richard M. Fowler of Sacramento passed away on Thurs., Sept. 27, 2012, surrounded by family and friends. Richard grew up in the Sacramento area. He graduated from Elk Grove High School and attended Sierra College. He is survived by his mother, Glenda; brothers, Don, Jim, David, and Kenny; sisters, Sandra and Sheryl; 8 nephews; 3 nieces, and many other family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Dean. Richard enjoyed life and loved spending time with family and friends. He loved horse racing and sports. Richard will be greatly missed by all. The viewing is Thurs., Oct. 4, 4:30-7:30pm, at Evergreen Memorial, 3030 Fruitridge Rd., Sacramento. The service will be Fri., Oct. 5, 2012, 10:30am, at El Sendero Centro de Fe Poder, 1401 Florin Rd., Sacramento. Burial will immediately follow service at Sacramento Memorial Lawn, 6100 Stockton Bl., Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Richard Fowler Memorial at Golden 1 Credit Union, Account 1468830.
