TURNER, Clyde S.
Born Oct 17, 1921 in Seattle Washington. Passed away on Sept 25, 2012.


Clyde entered the US Army Air Corp in 1939 and proudly served in the US Air Force for over 30 years, retiring in July 1970 as a CMSGT. He ended his career at the 9th OMS at Beale Air Force Base CA, after working on many different aircraft including the P39, F80, B17, B52, and SR 71. His career spanned many wars and campaigns including WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded many medals including the Airman's Medal for bravery.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia, of Sacramento California. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Leona, in 1977.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday Oct 6, 2012 at 2:30 pm at Atria El Camino Gardens, 2426 Garfield avenue, Carmichael, CA.
