LINZEL, George
George passed away after a short illness on October 3, 2012 at the age of 88. He was born in Rutherford, NJ to Walter and Elizabeth Linzel. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Marilou, his sister Phyllis McGrath (Mike) of Bradenton, FL, niece Linda Cooper, great-nephews Taylor Tibke, Cody Cooper and brother-in-law Warden Cooper, all of Sacramento.
George served in the Army in WWII. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a Masters degree in Business in 1949.
He was in the liquor business for 40 years and retired from Young's Market as a Vice President in 1990.
George loved his family, friends and his country. He was a kind and gentle person and loved cats and dogs. He was a great guy and we all will greatly miss him.
At his request, no services will be held.
