Died October 3, 2012, after a long period of failing health. He was born August 26, 1942, the son of the late William Thomas Maxfield and the late Virginia (Arthur) Maxfield.
He held a degree in mathematics from Sacramento State University. Prior to his retirement in January 2007, he was a Research Program Specialist for the State of California Department of Health Services.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 14th from 2-4PM at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 15, at 10AM at St. Mary's Church. Cremation will be followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery.
He is survived by a brother, John L. Maxfield of Sacramento and two sisters, Marjorie Leber of Andover, New Hampshire and Beverly Maxfield of Indio, California, and several nieces and nephews.
