Feb. 14, 1930 - Oct. 3, 2012
Retired Lt. Colonel Edward E. Gorre passed away on October 3, 2012 at his home in Sacramento.


Edward had a twenty two year career in the Army. He served in many campaigns in Korea and Vietnam. Edward was a proud member of the 187th Airborne 'Rakkasan', and Commander of the Golden Knights to name a few. He was a true Patriot and a Warrior.
He is survived by his children, Camilla, Jacqueline, Edward and Justin and his grandchildren.
Viewing will be on Sunday, October 14th from 12-5 p.m. and a funeral service will be held on Monday, October 15th at 11 a.m. at East Lawn Andrews & Greilich Mortuary, 3939 Fruitridge Road, Sacramento, CA. Military burial services will be held after the funeral at 1:30 p.m. at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5910 Midway Road, Dixon, CA.
