Of Citrus Heights, 93, died September 29, 2012 in Folsom, California. Born January 21, 1919, in Denton County, Texas, she lived most of her last 50 years in Encinitas, California, spending the last ten years in Sacramento County.
She was a homemaker and took care of her beloved mother for over 20 years. Mrs. Ligon was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years Ottis Lee Ligon, Sr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Cathy Ligon of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and her daughter, Wanda Carol Pugner of Citrus Heights, California; her grandsons, Andy and Erik Pugner, Daniel Ligon and granddaughter Katie Ligon Vining; great-grandchildren Marianna and Zachary Ligon and Lorelei Vining.
Memorial services will be held at Grace Lutheran Church at 2201 Benita Ave, Rancho Cordova at 1:00p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012.
