CONNELLY, Thomas
Tom was born 8-15-35 in Butler, MO. Died 10-4-12 in F.O., CA after a year long battle with cancer. Survived by his wife Charlotte of 56 years, 2 daughters and 2 sons, 5 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and 4 great-granddaughters. Tom was preceded in death by his eldest daughter Kelly and an infant grandson Joshua. As an engineering graduate of the University of Arizona, Tom spent his career as a soils engineer. Retired in 1986 as a partner in Lowry & Associates. Because of his love for family and sports, he coached hundreds of games for his children and grandchildren. He also ran in over 25 marathons. His passion for fitness brought forth many valuable friendships through the clubs to which he belonged. Members of family, member of clubs and members of humanity have all learned a lesson. With eternal love and dedication for the peace and happiness of each individual, Tom took the role of the official patriarch of his family with all of his heart. It was his cohesiveness that bound the Connelly family together. Through his wisdom we have all learned a great deal about life and with Tom's strong spirit being passed on for many generations to come, we must ask ourselves, would papa be proud?
