
HEESCH, Patricia
Of Lincoln, California died peacefully at home on November 1, 2012, after two years of living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS / Lou Gehrig's Disease). She was 75 years old.
Born Patricia Edith Hastings on December 9, 1936 in Los Angeles, she was the only child of Robert and Harriet Hastings, both of New York. Pat grew up in North Hollywood, attended UCLA, and was a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She and her first husband John R. Jackson raised their daughter Judy and son Jim in Saratoga, California.
Pat married her husband Lynn Heesch in 1984. They lived in the San Jose area, where Pat had a career in the fields of real estate, construction, and architecture, and was actively involved in the Willow Glen Rotary Club. She retired as Marketing Manager of Sugimura & Associates Architects.
In their retirement, Pat and Lynn settled in Sun City Lincoln Hills, where Pat was an energetic participant in numerous organizations, including the Roseville Area Newcomers and Neighbors club (RANN), the Lincoln Hills sports car club, multiple bridge groups, assorted hiking groups, and countless ad hoc clubs.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband Lynn Heesch of Lincoln Hills, daughter Judy (Robert) Bartlein of Santa Barbara, son Jim (Tami) Jackson of Greenbrae, and grandsons Jake Bartlein (19), Nick Jackson (17), Ben Jackson (15), and Sam Jackson (12). She also leaves behind her extended family and many dear friends. She will be greatly missed.
The family wishes to thank Sutter AIM and Sutter Hospice for providing Pat with compassionate care in her final months.
A memorial service in honor of Pat's life will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Community Church (1730 Pleasant Grove Blvd., Roseville). In lieu of flowers, remembrances in honor of Patricia Heesch may be sent to the ALS Assoc. (Greater Sacramento Chapter) or the
