SANDERS, Marion M.
Marion was called home to Our Lord on Nov. 21, 2012. She was born on Dec. 3, 1924, in Minnesota and was the oldest of 5 children, having 3 brothers and 1 sister, and is survived by her brother Dale. She started her working career inspecting B-24 bombers during WWII. She married Arnold Roy 'Sonny' Sanders, who was career Air Force, and accompanied him with their two children, Bonnie and Rick, on two tours in Japan. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelley Smith, Shelley Sanders, Erin Nicholas, Danielle Nelson, and Jeff Hawkins. She worked in civil service most of her working career. She enjoyed singing, dancing, travelling, sight-seeing, visiting with family and friends, a good steak and sipping on a gin and seven. Services to be held Monday, December 3rd, 2 PM at Mount Vernon memorial Park, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA. For further details go to www.mountvernonmemorial.com.
