In Sacramento, December 13, 2012. Born March 7, 1940 to Everett Angland Redington and Sylvia Lydia Jane (Smith) Redington in Helmsberg, IN. Long-time resident of Sacramento, CA. He served in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962 and the Army Reserves from 1980 to 1996. Earl is survived by his wife Arvilla; three sons: Michael (Robin), David and Andrew; and two daughters: Rachael and Sheri; seven grandchildren: Elliott Michael, Audrey, Dagmar, Marquis, Cierra, Shanae, and Reggie; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Konnor; two brothers: Walter Eugene and Robert Allen; two sisters: Deloris Coppin and Vicki (Peter) Wilhelmsen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Benjamin, four sisters: Olive Mae Redington, Betty Simenson, Barbara Claflin and Bessie Louise Smith and three brothers: Francis Marion, Everett Arthur, and Gary Wayne. Memorial Services at the United Methodist Church, 2101 Zinfandel Drive, Rancho Cordova on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.
