Carrie passed away peacefully in her home with her God given mate and husband by her side Leo Hart, Jr. She leaves two daughters, Shuzzette Zoe Hart-Brown, Yvonne Marie (Bill)Miller; one sister, Gannie Jackson; five brothers, Leslie (Frances) King, Robert (Annie) King, John (Ruby) King, Benjamin (Bessie) King, Thomas (Ruby) Brides; four grandchildren, Tremaine (Rosemary) Hart, Derrick Miller, Darnell Miller, Sr., Jahmal (Kimberly) Miller; ten great grandchildren, Jarrell, Chanell, Darnell Jr., Kobi, Joshua, Sydney, Reagan, Faith, Skye, and Leah. Her caretaker, Venee Marshall. Visitation will be Monday, February 11, 4-7pm at Morgan Jones Chapel of Chimes, 4200 Broadway. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, February 12, 9:30am at New Testament Baptist Church, 6746 34th Street, North Highland, CA. Interment Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
