COUSYN, Nancy A.
Age 77 of Orangevale, California. Nancy Audrey Higham was was born on on April 5, 1935 in Warrington, Lancashire County, England, the daughter of Harry and Ada Higham. She was christened in St Oswald's Church, Winwick, England. She was educated in the Warrington schools and was working at the American Air Base, Burtonwood RAF Station, located near Warrington when she met Ben Cousyn, an American airman.

They were married on December 8, 1955, and Nancy was an Air Force wife for 17 years. She served with Ben at several overseas locations and stateside bases. She happily moved with Ben and set up home wherever and whenever necessary. They moved to Orangevale in 1973 and have lived there since.

Nancy loved gardening, bowling. and travelling, but her greatest joy was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very proud of the achievements of her children.

Nancy passed away on February 11, 2013 after a lifelong struggle with diabetes. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ben; three children, Debbie Giudici (husband Bruce), Carolyn Ables (husband Brad), David Cousyn (wife Lynette), seven grandchildren, one great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Reginald Higham.

Services were held on Feb. 15 at Sylvan Cemetery, Citrus Heights.
