MARLER, Brian David

Brian David Marler 49 of Scio, Oregon, passed away on Sunday in a single car accident.
Brian was born in Sacramento, to Lawrence David and Joyce Ann (Clausse) Marler. He grew up in Rancho Cordova and graduated from Cordova High School in 1981 and then earned his bachelor degree in history from Sacramento State University. Brian held a variety of jobs in California and then decided to try farming in Oregon and moved to Scio in 1999. He then ended up working for Samaritan Health Services.
Brian enjoyed skiing, hiking, traveling, going to movies, eating out, music, and reading. He is remembered as a 'Very Special Person.'
Brian is survived by his parents Lawrence and Joyce Marler; brothers Steven and wife Patty of Lower Lake, CA., and Robert and companion Rebecca Bodine of Rancho Cordova; 11 niece and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and Best Friend Heidi.
