11/25/21 - 9/11/13
Born in Tulsa, OK on 11-25-21, left us on 9-11-13 in her home in Sacramento at the age of 91 3/4 years. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who cherished every holiday, every function and especially Sunday night dinner with her family. It was family that meant the most to her, while being a wife, mother and grandmother was a blessing; she found new joy with the arrival in 2011 of her beloved great granddaughter.
Ruth was the original working woman, leaving home at the age of 18 to work for the Railroad Retirement Board in Washington D.C. during WWII. After the war he moved to Sacramento where she met and married the love of her life, Bob Cronin. In 1954, they started a cabinet business called Sacramento Cabinet Supply, known today as Bob-Leon Plastics, and Bob-Leon Countertop. Ruth ran the business until her retirement in 2011 at the age of 90.
Proceeded in death by her soulmate of 50 years, Robert J. Cronin. Cherished mother and best friend to Kathleen (R.C. Baland), Robert, Diana, and Patricia (Gary) Crowder. Adoring grandmother to Ryan (Vanessa), Cara, Zachary (Bijan), Shane and Corey. And loving 'Mimi' to her great granddaughter, Mackenna.
Thank you to the ladies at Accent Care & Vitas Hospice Services for taking such great care of our Mom/Grandma/Mimi in her last days.
