Born on July 27, 1940. Passed away at the age of 73 in Sac- ramento, CA, on March 2, 2014, and is now resting peacefully in Heaven. Stanley was a lifelong resident of Sacramento and was preceded in death by four broth- ers and a sister. He is survived by his loving wife Penny; son Greg & his wife Kathy of Folsom, and son Dennis of Portland, ME; grandchildren Ian and Lillyanna; and five brothers and sisters. Before retiring as a Captain in 1993, Stanley had a 33 year career in the Sacramento Fire Dept. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. Stanley will be remembered fondly as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. Visitation will be held at East Lawn Mortuary, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento, CA on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, from 5-7pm, followed by a Recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento, on Wednesday, March 19 at 11 am, followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 7101 Verner Ave., Sacramento.
