Carl D. R. Powell, born 01-Sep-1960, in Los Angeles and passed away in his sleep on 15-May-2014, at his home in Stockton at age 53. Carl Powell had the most loving heart and the audacity to live life the way he wanted, including his many tattoos and stubborn nature. Carl, a longtime resident of Sacramento, was a retired mechanic who loved working with leather. He is predeceased by his wife, Brenda Rollins, parents Sandra Stewart and Franklin Powell, and sister, Rosemary Powell. Carl is survived by his five children, Kristy, John, Matthew, Autumn, and Dakota; two siblings, Rebecca and Rocky; and three grandchildren, Gabriel, Marissa, and Aleksia. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins who miss and love him. Following an intimate family service at Sunset Lawn Chapel of the Chimes, a potluck Memorial Luncheon will be held to honor Carl Powell on Saturday, May 24th from 12-3 PM at Lamplighter Sacramento Mobile Home Park, 5040 Jackson St, North Highlands, California 95660.
