Can´t believe it´s been 15 years already! You would be so very very proud of all that your family has achieved since you´ve been gone.

I had a very vivid dream about you last week. You, Paul and I were sitting on some steps, deep in conversation, at a resort of some kind! It was so nice "seeing" you again and nice to know you are in a good place! You are missed, but your strong spirit still lingers near!

Your friend,
Melissa

Another year and more proud moments to be celebrated in spirit. Paul has been strong and supportive enough for you both. He is so proud of Meloria (who will be starting her residency soon) and of the remarkable pro-baseball player and husband that Rhys has become. I share every proud moment in their lives as if it were you! I hear your cheers and know you are still their guiding light! Thank you for shining so brightly these past 14 years and keep watching over all of them as they fulfill their dreams!
with love, mrl

Dear beautiful spirit. You are not forgotten, and you still serve as a testament to the power of strength and determination. I watch your family grow and know how proud you would be of Paul and the devoted parent he is; for Meloria and her path to helping and healing of others, and of Rhys and how kind and humble he is. I miss you dearly. mrl

Cathy was an amazing woman, wife, mother, and friend. I knew her mainly as a mother of two wonderful children, both of which I had the opportunity to teach. I had Rhys for three years, but it was during his eighth grade year that I learned just what a devoted mother Cathy truly was. I used to call her the "Fund Raising Queen" She could raise money for anything we needed. She was amazing. Even at times when she was very sick, nothing stopped her from completing something she started. The education of her children were her main priority in life, and she was devoted to making sure they got the most out of everything.

Rhys and Meloria - God Bless you both through this difficult time. Please know that our thoughts and prayers here at Presentation School are with you both. We feel blessed to have had the chance to know your mother and her many talents. She will always be watching over you both. Much Love.

Seeing the outpouring of love and support for Cathy has been awe-inspiring. I will remember Cath, foremost, as a doting mother; and vow to keep her beloved family in my thoughts and prayers through the many milestones to come.

Rhys and Meloria - you will feel her loving presence for the rest of your lives (your graduations, your weddings and at the birth of your children). Be open to that and cherish those feeling.

And Paul, these past years have not been easy for you. Your steadfastness and outward cheerfulness is often misleading. I truly admire you and thanks to your devotion and muted support, Cath was able to demonstrate to us how to balance a strong work ethic with an unwavering commitment to your children, the ability to care and concern for her beloved father, family, friends, co-workers and many charitable causes.

She was a guiding light to so many of us who looked up to her for comfort. (I feel so selfish)

Her beauty was astounding and what a blessing to have her lovely sister Tracy here to refresh our memory.

May the peace of the Lord be with you all as we carry on with this emptiness and heavy heart and begin to heal.

With love,

Matthew James

Cathy was instrumental in the creation & success of Edfund. Cathy had an open door policy & was always willing to talk with staff about issues of any kind. Cathy never hesitated to share her wealth of knowledge & good judgment...when she wasn't talking about her family. Cathy was a hero & admired for her commitment to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. She will be forever missed by Edfund & those who benefited greatly by working with & knowing her. Cathy Reynolds was a very good, compassionate & caring person.

Rhys and Meloria,

Your mom is the person we should all strive to be and I know wants you both to be. She had commitment, compassion, determination and grace in everything she did in life. You both were her #1 passion and her love for you was truly amazing.

Together her and I laughed and cried, cheered for you on the field and in the pool, sipped good wine on the patio and tried to fix all of the worlds problems. These are the times I saw a woman with a drive and determination to make the world a better place. She lived life to the fullest, never taking one precious minute for granted.

You are so very lucky to have been given the gift of your mom. She truly is an angel. We will miss her.

Rhys, Meloria and Paul - Your mom and wife had the most beautiful voice. Whenever I heard her say hello to me, it was as if a wave of warmth and love flowed out of her. Her goodness was like a magnet drawing you in, all of which was easily seen in her sunny eyes. I hope you know how much we all benefitted from her love for you. You three were the jewels in her crown and she freely shared her love for you with us in word and deed. I hope you hear her loving voice still. You meant the world to her. Much love - Julie

I have known Cathy Reynolds for at least twenty-five years. I have known Paul Hoskins, her husband, for fifty-one years. (since he was born in the house across the street from our family.). When my daughter, Liz, married Scott Reynolds, Cathy met Paul at their wedding. They were both very special to me.
I have grieved so much for Cathy's long struggle, her courage and that of the Reynolds and Hoskins families.

Somehow I know that Cathy will always be near her children, Meloria and Rhys. Maybe, as I read on a card recently, when we look at the stars she will be looking back at us....especially her children. Life is a journey, and I believe Cathy is just on another part of that journey which goes on forever. Some day we will all join her.

To the Hoskins family,

Our deepest prayers and warmest thoughts are with you at this time. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Cathy on a number of events at Presentation School. She was a shining example of Christ's Stewardship through her extraordinary and selfless work on behalf of others. Cathy did everything with the utmost professionalism and class. Her quiet leadership and get-it- done attitude brought much needed assurance that our events would do well. And with Cathy working on them, that was always so true!!!

Her actions were a testimony to the love she had for her parish, the school community, and most importantly, her family. I was constantly amazed at her strength and courage of keeping up with her prior commitments and busy schedule even while she was undergoing cancer treatments.

I feel that I am blessed for having known her. She made all that came in touch with her life better for having known her.

She will be greatly missed and dearly loved.

Cathy was my most dear friend. How blessed our lives are to know her loving family, Paul, Rhys and Meloria. May her life be an inspriation to you all.

To her extended family, we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. I believe the friendship she gave others was more strong as a daughter and sister to you.

Now and forever, I will cherish the day we met all that followed after...

She will always be loved and missed.
