MEREDITH, Carol Ann
Born on September 7, 1937 and raised in Echo Oregon, passed away on December 10, 2009 in Sacramento California at the age of 72. She graduated from Echo High School in 1955, and the University of Oregon class of 1960. After graduation she taught Physical Education at El Camino High School for two years and Elk Grove High School for 35 years where she was the girls tennis coach. She was active in local tennis tournaments. Upon retirement she attended Cosumnes River College where she played for the tennis team snaking the league all star team for two years while maintaining a 4.0 gpa. She was an avid quilter and made and donated quilts to the Sutter Cancer Quilt Auction. She is survived by her husband Larry Meredith, Galt, CA; son Brian Beardslee, Sr., Boston, MA; grandchildren Rachel (Joe) DeLeon, Houston, TX, Aimee (Rob) Richardson, Malibu, CA; Charles Beardslee, Dana Point, CA; William (Allison) Beardslee, San Juan Capistrano, CA and Brian Beardslee, Jr, San Clemente, CA; great-granddaughter, Aurelia DeLeon, sister Dorothy (Bud) Graham, Sun City, OR; brother Eugene (Shirley) Wiglesworth, Boardman, OR; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service on Wednesday, December 16, 2009 at 10:00 am at East Lawn Elk Grove Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove.
