RIDDLE, Jr., Clifton Jay
Was born on July 28, 1979, in Oroville, California, to Clifton Jay Riddle Sr. and Jackie Prusia. J.J., as known to his friends, was taken suddenly from us on September 14, 2012, in Rancho Cordova, California, at the age of 33. Those closest to J.J. laughed, cried, lived, and loved with him. They say that the brightest flames burn quickest and this epitomizes his approach to life. Not content to simply be alive, he lived, and as Walt Whitman wrote '...suck(ed) the marrow out of life...' J.J. was a loving father, giving brother, and diligent son. While his passing is tragic we will not mourn his absence but rather celebrate his life. J.J. is survived by his mother Jackie Prusia, his father Clifton J. Riddle Sr., his brother Cody Riddle, his sisters Makia and Cheyenne Whitfield, his 10 month old daughter Angelica Marie Riddle, maternal grandparents Pauline Serrao and Cecil Spencer Jr., paternal grandparents Pat and Cliff Riddle, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 1, 2012, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson St., Oroville, CA. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at 11:00 am at Ramsey Funeral Home with Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5646 Lincoln Blvd., Oroville, CA. Flowers may be sent to Ramsey Funeral Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Oroville Funeral Home 530-533-0323.
